    1. Privacy

      Personal data and electronic communication

      The Operator may require that access to the Site or certain of its parts or services will be subject to the registration of selected personal information (personal data) by the Users.

      Each User wishing to register:

      • Must provide the Operator with accurate, complete registration information and it is the User's responsibility to inform the Operator of any changes (including, in particular, changes of e-mail address) by e-mailing: [email protected]. The User should also use this e-mail address for any communication concerning the maintaining and processing of User's personal data and electronic communication (see below for more details).
      • May use any information provided via e-mail by the Operator subject to these Terms of Use.
      • is responsible for keeping secure any passwords or access codes provided to the User upon registration and/or in order to enable User's access to the content and/or services featured at the Site.
      • Since, as part of the service for which the User has registered, the Operator may send e-mails to the e-mail address provided by the User, the User warrants that he/she is entitled to receive e-mails at that address, specifically in case such e-mails will be received by the User via a computer network operated by or on behalf of a User's employer or college (or alike). The User agrees that the Operator may refrain from sending any e-mails to such address without notifying the User, even if the User has subscribed to receive them, if the Operator receives a request from the User's employer or college to stop sending e-mails to that address.

      Users' consents with personal data processing and electronic communication

      1. The Operator is required to obtain the User’s consent for the purpose of to maintain and process the User’s personal data provided by the User upon registration and process your personal data in accordance with Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on Personal Data Protection and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
      2. The controller of personal data to which the User is giving the consent is: Home Credit International a. s., having its registered office at Evropska 2690/17, Prague 6, Postal Code 160 41, Czech Republic.
      3. The Operator process only the following personal data: name, surname, e-mail address, history of my browsing and activities on the Operator´s web pages.
      4. The personal data will be maintained and processed by the Operator for the purpose of regulation of Users’ access to the Site or certain of its parts or services and distributing business news (business-related communication) and information on recent changes in the contents of the Site.
      5. The personal data shall be maintained for the period of three years from the provided consent with data processing.
      6. The User’s consent is voluntary and the User may withdraw his/her consent at any time by set up in the field Email alerts or by sending a notice to this effect to the above stated e-mail address of the Operator.
      7. The personal data are shared with Investis Limited, Company number 03930926, whose registered office is 24 Fashion Street, London, E1 6PX as data processor, which administer this web pages and the related Email alert services.
      8. By providing the User’s personal data to the Operator the User expresses his/her consent to the fact that his/her personal data will be maintained and processed for the purposes and by the means as set out above.
      9. Users have the following rights in relation to their personal data:
        • Right to Information – I have right to request an information about what personal data is being processed and the rationale for such processing
        • Right to access - I have the right to obtain a confirmation whether my personal data is being processed and if yes, to access my personal data. I have the right to be provided a copy of my personal data undergoing processing.
        • Right to rectification - I have the right to obtain without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning me.
        • Right to erasure - I have the right for erasure of my personal data without undue delay where one of the following grounds applies: a) the purposes for collection or processing lapsed or is no longer relevant, b) I withdraw this consent on which the processing is based and there is no other legal ground for the processing, c) my personal data have been unlawfully processed, e) my personal data have to be erased for compliance with a legal obligation of the Operator.
        • Right to restriction of processing - I have the right to obtain restriction of processing if: a) the accuracy or processing of my personal data is contested by me, for a period to verify the accuracy of my personal data, b) my personal data are no longer needed for the purpose of the processing but they are required by me for establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
        • Right to data portability - I have the right to receive my personal data, which I have provided to the Operator, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and I have the right to transmit the data to another controller. I have also the right to have the personal data transmitted directly from the Operator to another, where technically feasible.
        • Right to object - I have the right to object, on grounds relating to my particular situation, at any time to processing of my personal data. The Operator will no longer process my personal data unless the Operator demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of mine or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
      1. The Operator is required, pursuant to Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on Certain Information Society Services and Amendments to Certain Acts, to obtain the User’s consent to use the User’s electronic address for the purpose of distributing business news (business-related communication) and information on recent changes in the contents of the Site as part of electronic communication. The User’s consent is voluntary and the User may withdraw his/her consent at any time by sending a notice to this effect to the above stated e-mail address of the Operator.

        By providing the Operator with the User’s electronic address the User expresses his/her consent with the dissemination of business-related communication (including information on the recent changes in the contents of the Site) by the Operator and its affiliated companies to the User as part of the electronic communication between the Operator and its affiliated companies and the User.
